Optomising an inspiring site > Located at the top of a rise within a working vinyard, this sculptural residence looks out over vines and inwards to a sheltered courtyard. The limited cladding palette of timber and coreten steel melds the building with the site

Retaining a home's 'memory' > By retaining the facade of the existing house, we created a kind of 'ruin' to preserve the memory of the original structure. The new building is covered in a mesh skin, which simplifies its form. It also provides a framework for planting, softening the streetscape and reducing heat entering the residence

Community Hub > 500 seat soccer stadium and multi-use community facility catering to a diverse range of user groups, including local soccer clubs, the adjoining John Fawkner College and the wider local community. The building form has been designed to create a ‘signpost’ for the new facility and clearly identify the building within the wider leisure precinct.
